Harpersville – Following a raid by the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force five people were arrested at a residence in Harpersville.
With assistance from the Shelby County Tactical Response Unit, the Shelby County Drug Enforcement Task Force served a search warrant on June 30th at a home in the 400 block of Highway 62.
Investigators report that multiple illegal narcotics, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, Suboxone, and illegally possessed prescription medications were confiscated during the search, along with firearms were also recovered from the residence.
Five individuals – Joey Parker, James Fowler, Barry Hayes, Bonita Johnson, and Samantha Byram – were taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Shelby County Jail where an array of drug related charges were filed.
