Auburn – Auburn City School officials announced this week that their schools will offer free breakfast for all students in the area throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
The school system was awarded the Alabama School Breakfast Grant, funded by state legislators, which allows every student to eat breakfast for free, ensuring they all have access to a nutritious start to their day, supporting student well-being, improving focus and behavior, and boosting academic performance.
Every student in Auburn city schools will have access to free breakfast, and it started on Friday, May 1st.
