Pell City – The Pell City Council has approved an architectural design proposal for a new Fire Station No. 4 on recently purchased property along U.S. Highway 78
Designed by CMH Architects, the proposed station will be approximately 9,000 square feet and replace the former Station No. 4 in Eden. That station was closed in May 2026 after significant moisture damage rendered the building unsafe for firefighters.
Plans for the new facility include two truck bays, five bunk rooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen and day room, a gear room, a workout room and an office.
