Sylacauga’s Comer Museum closes for renovations in November and December

Sylacauga – The Isabel Anderson Comer Museum will be undergoing further renovations, and the latest round will require closing temporarily for November and December.

The latest phase includes replacing interior drywall that has sustained extensive water damage over decades of leaks. That comes now that skylight repair and resurfacing has been affected, along with exterior electric work. Moisture affected flooring is also in the current plans, along with heating and air upgrades.

The museum will resume normal operations in the new year.
