Lincoln – Talladega Superspeedway announced that multi-platinum Georgia native, Brantley Gilbert will perform as part of the weekend’s “The Chase” triple-header during YellaWood 500 race weekend in October.
It will be part of the Saturday night infield concert, bringing a major country music act to the track ahead of Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series showdown.
According to a release, Region President Josh Harris said, “Brantley brings unmatched passion to his high-energy performances and fans are in for an unforgettable night before our drivers battle in Sunday’s YellaWood 500.”
The race weekend at Talladega Superspeedway is scheduled to begin Friday, Oct. 23rd, with the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Love’s RV Stop 225, followed by the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series The Progress Group 250 on Saturday, Oct. 24. Then on Sunday, Oct. 25, the YellaWood 500 returns as NASCAR Cup Series drivers take on Talladega Superspeedway.
