Springville – Saturday (9/5) night storms that moved through the Sportsmen Lake community near Springville in St. Clair County around 9:30 p.m. caused significant damage, with large trees and limbs down throughout the area, including one substantial tree that came down directly on top of a Jeep.
According to Audrey Cabaniss, who shared images from the scene, there were a large number of people at the campground when the storms moved through, though thankfully no injuries have been reported despite the extent of the damage.
