Acknowledging of 98 years of a life well-lived, First Bank of Alabama funds the “Chris Kramer Chair”

Sylacauga – Chris Kramer was surprised on his 98th birthday with the dedication of the “First Bank of Alabama Chris Kramer Chair” through the banks’s five-year commitment to the Sylacauga City Schools Foundation.

First Bank of Alabama is proud to contribute $5,000 annually for five years in support of the Foundation’s mission, acknowledging Kramer’s 98 years of a life well-lived, and a legacy worth celebrating.

First Bank of Alabama President & CEO, Chad Jones, said, “Generations from now, people may see your name associated with this chair who never had the privilege of knowing you personally. Our responsibility will be to make sure they understand why your name is there. It is there because you didn’t simply spend 98 years in Sylacauga. You invested those years in Sylacauga.
