Coosa County – A two-boat crash Friday on Hatchett Creek as it pours into Lake Mitchell was the second in recents days in Alabama.
Fortunately, this one did not include a fatality, as the one in St Clair County did a few days earlier. ALEA reports that a pair of 17-foot fishing boats collided arounf 7:15 om Friday evening. There was damage reported to both vessels. One person was ejected from one of the boats and, with no visible external injuries, was taken to Baptist Medical Center East for observation as a precaution, examined and released.
