Auburn – Auburn police officers responded Thursday to the 200 block of West Magnolia Avenue after receiving a call that a person had been hit by a vehicle, where they found a 68-year-old man lying in a driveaway. After receiving medical assistance, the victim was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical but stable condition.
At the acene, authorities arrested 28-year-old Michael Alexander Sherrill, who taken to the Lee County Jail on 2nd Degree Assault charges on a $25,000 bond.
