Pell City – A Pell City man was killed in a deadly boat crash on Logan Martin Lake.
83-year-old Gary M. Kendrick was taken to UAB St. Vincent’s St. Clair Hospital, where he later died from his injuries after his 1993 Ranger Bass boat collided head-on with a 2005 Hurricane Pontoon boat. 81-year-old Barbara W. Kendrick was a passenger in the Ranger.
The Pontoon’s driver was uninjured when the boats crashed near the I-20 Bridge in St. Clair County. Pell City Police Department and Lincoln Fire Department both responded to the scene with ALEA Marine Patrol Troopers, who are still investigating.
