Shelby County – A judge in Shelby County has ruled in favor of Evans Meats, Inc., a meat supplier in a lawsuit against restaurants connected to the Pihakis Restaurant Group and its closed Valley Post development in Chelsea.
In its lawsuit against the restaurant group, Evans Meats claimed it was not paid for deliveries made to restaurants including Rodney Scott’s BBQ, Little Donkey and Hero Doughnut. The judge ordered some defendants to pay a few thousand dollars and one defendant to pay more than $86,000, plus interest.
