Beulah – Lee County law enforcement detained two juveniles, ages 15 and 17, on Thursday (5/28) following a high-speed chase that began after a Lee County deputy initiated a traffic stop on a red Mercedes for a tag violation.
According to authorities, the driver immediately fled, leading deputies on a pursuit through the Beulah community at speeds reaching 110mph while the driver and passenger threw items from the vehicle. The chase ended near the intersection of Lee Road 272 and Lee Road 275.
