Shelby County – EBSCO Industries has named Bryson Stephens as its new permanent Chief Executive Officer. After a stint as interim CEO, Stephens is the new permanent chief executive officer, effective immediately.
Stephens steps into the fulltime role officially after acting as the company’s interim CEO due to former EBSCO President CEO David Walker stepping down from the position in 2025. He is the grandson of the company’s founder, Elton B. Stephens and the son of the chairman emeritus, J.T. Stephens.
He has worked with EBSCO for almost two decades, beginning with being named to the board of directors in 2007. Stephens became the group president in 2014. In 2016, he was promoted to vice president of the board, and just a year later, he became the chairman.
