Munford – A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, has claimed the life of an Estaboga woman. 35-year-old Teresa D. Shell was fatally injured when the 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan she was driving struck a 2001 Peterbilt 330 tow truck. Shell was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The tow truck was in the roadway, unoccupied, and being used to recover a disabled vehicle at the time of the crash.
The crash occurred on Alabama 21 near the 246 mile marker, approximately three miles north of Munford, in Talladega County. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
