The 2026 Sylacauga Farmers Market opens a Fall Market on Friday, October 16th

Sylacauga – By all accounts, the Sylacauga Farmers Market experienced a banner summer season that extended into September with a much stronger supply of vendors. After a brief respite the plan is to return with a Fall Market on Friday, October 16th and run four weeks, through Friday, November 13th. The farmers market will continue to call Sylacauga’s Central Park as its home, and operate from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.

The Market will continue to serve as a place for area seniors to use the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) cards from the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries. The local farmers market program is administered by the Alabama Farmers Market Authority, a program to aid marketing of agricultural products from the farm to the consumer. This assures the consumer a better quality product at a reasonable price and a fair return to the producer by providing a convenient, dependable place through which producers and buyers to gather on a regular basis.
