Opelika – An Opelika man, 30-year-old Queston Vantavis Perry, has been arrested in the deadly shooting of another Opelika man in Chambers County.
Chambers County deputies were sent to County Road 26 in reference to a shooting. Once they arrived, they found a male, 35-year-old Douglas Quentez Griffin, suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. He was transported to East Alabama Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators arrested Perry and charged him with murder. He is being held at Chambers County Detention Facility with no bond, while the case remains under investigation by Chambers County Sheriff’s Office.
