Two St. Clair County students killed in crash

St Clair County – St. Clair County Schools have confirmed that two students were killed in a car crash Friday afternoon near Chandler Mountain.

ALEA troopers report that the crash happened around 3:50 p.m., when a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old left the roadway and crashed into a tree. The 16-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second victim, a 10-year-old passenger, was critically injured in the crash and was taken to a local hospital and later succumbed to injuries. A third victim, an 18-year-old was also injured in the crash and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash happened on Mount Lebanon Road near Chandler Mountain Road.
