Auburn man arrested on 2nd Degree Assault, Harassment charges

Auburn – According to the Auburn Police Department an Auburn man has been arrested on 2nd Degree Assault and Harassment charges.

20-year-old, Hagan Phillips Lewis, of Auburn, was arrested on Saturday, August 29th.

According to Assistant Police Chief James M. Pescia, Auburn officers responded to an assault call in the 200 block of West Magnolia Avenue in the early hours Saturday, discovering a male victim lying unconscious on the ground.

Witnesses informed police that a male, later identified as Lewis, assaulted the victim unprovoked, then shoved a female victim before fleeing the scene. EMS transported the victim to the hospital, where he is listed as critical but stable. Warrants were subsequently obtained for Lewis’ arrest.
