About a quarter acre at 160 Davila Drive was rezoned from Agricultural Residential to Multiple-Family Dwelling Special District, to align with the property’s existing two-unit residential use, while allowing the duplex to be converted into townhome units.
The city’s continued participation in the Shelby Urban County Community Development Block Grant Entitlement Program for fiscal years 2027-29. The latest graant-funded project helps improve sewer infrastructure at Moore’s Crossroads.
Montevallo’s lodging tax rate will not change, with the ordinance change simply adding language required by the Alabama Department of Revenue exempting lodging stays of 180 continuous days or more from the tax.
