North Shelby – Two Alabama men – Tyler Alexander Goodlett, age 20 of Birmingham; and Isaiah Jeremiah Reasor, age 20 of Tuscaloosa – are behind bars following an armed robbery in North Shelby with gunfire.
Shelby County Deputies responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Shoal Run Trail and detained four individuals, before ultimately charging Goodlett and Reasor. Court records say that the incident began around 3:00 p.m. when the suspects allegedly threatened a victim, a man they knew, with a handgun in order to steal a ProMag 9mm 50-round drum magazine.
Both men face first-degree robbery charges and were held at the Shelby County Jail on $90,000 bonds each. The investigation remains ongoing. Authorities ask anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 205-670-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
