Pell City – The Pell City Council has approved a downtown mural project presented by members of the Pell City Historical Society. The 14-by-80 foot prooject will be painted on the building located at 2007 Cogswell Avenue.
The property is owned by Union State Bank and is home to the Glitz and Glamor formal shop. The projectfrom the Pell City Historical Society, was approved for all necessary permits during the City Council meeting.
Work on the mural began a few weeks ago, and weather permitting, should be complete soon. The local Pell City artists are Penny Arnold and Sundi Hawkins.
