Alexander City – An Alexander City man, 29-year-old William D. Hatcher, was fatally injured in a Saturday morning crash in Tallapoosa County.
State Troopers say that the single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Coley Creek Road near Coley Creek Drive, about two miles south of Alexander City. Hatcher was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. Trooper said his truck left the road and struck a tree.
