Opelika – “Made in Alabama” has announced that global automotive components manufacturer, GMB USA, will bring a new production facility to Opelika, adding 75 jobs and more than $9 million in capital investment to east Alabama’s growing advanced manufacturing sector.
GMB USA Alabama Inc. will produce precision automotive components for hybrid electric vehicles at its new operation in the Orr Industrial Park, further positioning the region as a hub for next-generation automotive technology.
The company’s decision to locate in Alabama reflects confidence in the state’s automotive manufacturing ecosystem and skilled workforce.
