Sylacauga – Chick-fil-A reopens Friday with improved drive-thru operation following a five-week renovation and Thursday ribbon-cutting.
“We had a few positive cosmetic changes,” said Manager Michael Nussbaum, “such as lighter floor tile for a brighter atmosphere, but the big change comes for our drive through operation.”
Along with a few other functional changes, the drive through window itself has been replaced with an electronic door that will allow staff to go out into the line to serve multiple customers at the same time – no more long waits behind slower, large orders.
“And that’s a huge plus change for our customers,” added Nussbaum, “The door can quickly revert back to a window if the weather dictates that, but generally, we’ll be able to deliver even faster than our excellent reputation.”
You’ll still find that delicious Chick-fil-A menu, along with a few more subtle cosmetic changes inside the Sylacauga location with one of the largest dining rooms in the chain, but the most substantial change from the renovation will be a big improvement to an aspect already tops in the business.
