$2,000 reward offered in late March Alexander City double homicide

Alexander City – CrimeStoppers has announced a $2,000 cash reward for tips leading to the identification and arrest of suspects in a double homicide that left two young men dead on Monday afternoon, March 30th in Alexander City.

According to police, officers responded around 1:00 p.m. to the intersection of 3rd Street and 10th Avenue in response to a 911 call reporting gunfire. When officers arrived, they found a silver Hyundai Elantra with two people inside. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene, shot multiple times from outside the vehicle.

Authorities identified the victims as Fitzgerald Wilson, 19, and Rafiel Riggins, 20, both of Alexander City. Police have not released information about possible suspects or a motive in the shooting. They are urging anyone with information to come forward.
