Calera – A Calera man man accused of murdering his live-in girlfriend was denied bond after appearing in court for an Aniah’s Law hearing last week.
Circuit Court Judge Lara Alvis denied Noah Hendrick’s request for bond, saying she had concerns about his state of mind and mental health after learning about two suicide attempts, as well as no seeking help for the victim.
22-year-old Noah Hendrick is charged with murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend, 23-year-old Jennifer Talley, inside a residence on The Heights Drive in north Calera on the night of February 12, 2026.
