Five arrested on drug charges in Alexander City

Alexander City – The Tallapoosa County Narcotics Task Force and the Alexander City Special Response Group executed a search warrant in Alexander City this week. During the search, agents say they seized the following drugs & drug-related paraphernalia: two grams of methamphetamine, two grams of marijuana, two THC vapes, four types of prescription-only pills, digital scales and several other items used in the distribution and use of controlled substances.

Arrested were:
54-year-old Sherry Fincher – arrested and charged with six counts of distribution, one count of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

39-year-old Furnis Muckenfuss & 65-year-old Rhonda Whited – arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

66-year-old Debra Sims & 53-year-old Jonathan Moor – arrested and charged with four counts of illegal possession of a prescription medication, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second degree and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
