Sylacauga – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation has introduced the newest member of their team – Caleb Connelley, who will be joining forces with Kishawn McKinney as an Athletic Coordinator.
Connelley is a native of Sylacauga and graduated in 2019 from Coosa Valley Academy, where he played baseball, making all-county honors in sophomore and senior seasons. He has a deep background and knowledge of youth athletics and sports and previously working for Prep Baseball Alabama and College Baseball Central. He was recently added as a D1Baseball staff member, managing their social media platforms.
Connelley has also served as an assistant baseball coach at BB Comer High School for the last two seasons. Caleb grew up playing in Sylacauga Cal Ripken and was one of the first when the league was introduced to the city.
“I’ve always been passionate about sports, and growing up playing youth sports in Sylacauga,” said Connelley, “I’m always looking for a way to give back to my community, helping the youth expand their skills and knowledge of sports.”
