Cheaha State Park – At 10:52 a.m. Monday morning, Shinbone Valley Fire & Rescue, along with Hollis Fire & Rescue, were paged to a structure fire at Cabin #3 on Bunker Loop at Cheaha State Park.
The fire was contained to the single cabin, and there were no injuries.
Matt Benefield of the Pinhoti Trail Alliance said, “This cabin was a very special place to many and its loss is deeply felt within our state park community.”
