Opelika – After 24 dogs were rescued from neglect in Beauregard this past week, local animal shelters in Opelika are reaching out to the community to foster and support.
The community has stepped up for the dogs being cared for at Opelika’s Animal Health Center as 13 have been placed in foster care. But there is a need for foster homes for 11 of the original 24 rescues.
