Hoover – An inmate who escaped from a community work assignment in Hoover earlier this month has been recaptured, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections. 27-year-old Alexus Uniqu Percival-Lolley taken into custody on Friday, December 27th, at approximately 2:00 p.m., seven days after her escape by the Birmingham Police Department.
Percival-Lolley escaped on Saturday, December 20th, after leaving her assigned job site. At the time, she was incarcerated at the Birmingham Community Based Facility/ Community Work Center and was classified under minimum-community custody.
